The camp-door lead
In an October 14 Steam discussion, a player worried that cooking their Corn had stopped their progress. A reply directed them to the main camp's wooden double doors, mentioning a Nail in the wall and an opening above the doors. The suggested access tool was the grappling hook.
Revisit the camp, look above the doorway and inspect reachable openings before concluding the save is lost. This is one first-hand community lead, not a route we have independently played through. It may be more useful than searching every low shelf again, but it is not a guarantee that every Corn shortage has the same cause.
Do not substitute the Corn Gem
The Corn Gem is a different named item with a reported route behind roots in an archer room. Searching only for “corn” can mix those two problems together. Choose the guide that matches the item name or obstacle in your save.
What this report does not establish
The thread does not provide a tested respawn timer, seed-growing method or unlimited farm. We therefore do not advise waiting a fixed number of minutes or starting over. Keep an ingredient aside when testing a recipe or interaction whose cost you have not checked.
