Bring an Axe and check the roots behind the skeleton archer in the room left of the double golden doors.

Route reported after finding the gem

On October 15, SrslyTibs returned to their Steam question with the route that solved it:

1. Find the dining room with three platters on the table.
2. Go to the second floor.
3. Take the first door to the left of the double golden doors.
4. Look for the room containing two scorpions and a skeleton archer.
5. Use an Axe to clear the roots behind the archer, then inspect the newly accessible area.

A different Steam discussion also points players toward the archer near the golden-door area; a participant thanked the poster after finding the gem. That supports the landmark. The exact door sequence above comes from SrslyTibs' report, not two independent full walkthroughs.

If the route does not line up

Match the room's enemies and the roots before assuming you are at the right doorway. If the roots stop you, resolve the Axe prerequisite first. We have not verified a save-independent map coordinate.

Gem versus ingredient

This page concerns the named Corn Gem, not the ordinary cooking ingredient. If your problem began after cooking your Corn, use the food Corn lead instead. The Steam checklist includes an achievement named Corn Gem, but this page does not claim to establish its precise unlock trigger.
