Tenebris Somnia Steam Deck: Support and Setup Checks
New Blood explicitly identifies Tenebris Somnia as Steam Deck Verified in the launch announcement. That supports compatibility, not a measured frame-rate or battery-life claim.

What has actually been confirmed
The official launch post calls the game Deck Verified, and the Steam listing advertises full controller support. Those are the support signals checked for this guide. We have not measured performance, heat, battery use or every late-game scene on a physical Deck.
Check one complete interaction loop
Our suggested first-session check is small enough to repeat when troubleshooting:
- Note your game version and any custom input profile.
- Start with the game's current controller prompts and check movement plus menu navigation.
- Open an item description, return to movement, and confirm that the same input behaves consistently.
- Check readability during both ordinary play and a filmed scene.
- If one part fails, record the scene and the exact input rather than changing several options together.
This is a verification workflow, not a prescribed graphics preset. A compatibility label cannot tell us which power limit will suit your preferred session length, so no invented FPS, resolution scaling or battery estimate is listed here.
Demo and launch build
The launch post says the demo was updated. Record which edition and build you tested when comparing an old video or reporting a difference. A result in an earlier demo does not establish that the released game has the same issue. For a progression-specific problem, compare the official 1.0.1 fixes before resetting a run or making destructive changes to saves.
