Chained Beasts Demo vs Full Game: Builds and Availability
Treat demo instructions as historical unless the current store still offers that build. The developer announced demo removal at launch; an older downloadable-demo search result is not proof of present availability.

Can you still download it?
The platform announcement said the Carthage demo would be taken offline when the game launched on October 15. We have not independently installed the demo in this review. Check the current Steam page and your own library rather than following an old download button or assuming a cached result is current.
Why an older guide may look different
The historical demo-update post introduced executions, the Rhino and Ibex, beast variants, a bow, dismemberment interactions and additional enemy types. The full-game launch post then advertised more beasts, arenas, afflictions, weapons, modes and progression content beyond the demo.
| Advice you found | Question to ask |
|---|---|
| A demo boss appears at a numbered round | Does the guide name the demo date and build? |
| A weapon or beast is missing | Is that source describing a different stage of the demo? |
| A progression claim refers to a future update | Has that update actually shipped? |
| A co-op tutorial assumes one input device | Does it match your local or online setup? |
Compare evidence before changing the install
Our suggested note has four fields: edition, visible version, guide date and the exact mismatch. That small comparison can prevent unnecessary troubleshooting when the apparent problem is simply a different release.
No save-transfer promise, compatibility between demo and full-game sessions, or unofficial installer is recommended here. Use the current official distribution page for availability and the released build's own prompts for setup.
